River Advisers has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Rachel Beattie and Dr Jennifer Stone to its Board of Directors.
The appointments position the company for the next phase of growth in the rapidly expanding satellite and space‑connectivity sector.
The firm supports satellite operators, governments and technology companies with spectrum strategy, market access and regulatory approvals, areas becoming increasingly complex as demand rises for satellite connectivity and non‑terrestrial networks.
Beattie, the company’s CFO and COO, joins the Board after six years shaping River Advisers’ operational and strategic development. A Fellow of the ACCA, she brings expertise in finance, governance and organisational leadership.
Dr Stone, the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, also joins the Board. She is internationally recognised for her work in satellite spectrum management, ITU coordination and space policy, and leads River Advisers’ Spectrum Strategy and International Coordination practice.
CEO Alexis Martin said their appointments reflect the “knowledge, leadership and vision” both bring to the business as the global space industry enters a new era of innovation and regulatory change.
Beattie said she was “delighted” to join the Board, while Stone, who will reach ten years with the company in 2025, said innovation in the sector is creating “extraordinary opportunities” alongside growing regulatory complexity.
