Manx Grand Prix competitor Salvatore Sallutro, bike number 18, is in hospital after coming off at Greeba Bridge during the first lap of the opening Sportbike/Junior MGP qualifying session this afternoon.
The information has been confirmed in an update following the red flag incident that stopped the session. The Clerk of the Course later decided there would be no further action in this afternoon’s session due to deteriorating weather conditions.
An MGP spokesperson said: “Salvatore has been taken to Noble’s Hospital by Airmed for further assessment and to receive treatment.”
