The Manx Grand Prix qualifying sessions are due to resume tonight (Monday), along with the first Classic TT outing. But it is all dependent on the weather.
A decision will be made later this afternoon.
Roads are scheduled to close at 6pm for the qualifying session, with MGP qualifiers set to get underway at 6.30pm and the first lap of Classic TT qualifying scheduled for 7.50pm. But the weather forecast is casting a shadow over the chances of the session taking place.
With rain forecast both this afternoon and later this evening, a spokesperson said: “To give every opportunity for qualifying to go ahead, a final decision will be made at 3pm on this evening’s schedule.”

Cut short
The first qualifying session yesterday (Sunday) was cut short due to deteriorating weather on the Mountain Course.
That followed a red flag, after a crash involving Salvatore Sallustro at Greeba Bridge. He was taken to Noble’s Hospital for further assessment and to receive treatment.
