Western AC athlete Connor Cain completed Ironman Leeds in an impressive 10:37:08.
Cain placed 22nd of 127 in the M18–24 age group, 215th of 984 men, and 232nd overall from 1,123 finishers, rounding off months of training with a strong all‑round performance across swim, bike and run.
Western AC said the result was a “fantastic achievement”, praising Cain’s commitment and determination throughout his preparation.
The club added that Cain’s effort was “absolutely brilliant”, congratulating him on a landmark endurance milestone.
