A family friendly orienteering event will be taking place soon at Archallagan Forest.
‘The 7 Kingdoms’ is hosted by Isle of Man Orienteering Klubb and takes place this Saturday (September 12).
With three levels of course length to choose from, the timed event will have participants race to navigate a series of flags marked on their map.
Tickets cost £4 for adults and £1.50 children (under 18) while families (two adults and two children) cost £8. Payment is cash only.
You can register at the enlarged Southern Car Park on the Eairy Kelly road between 9.30am and 10.20am. Start times are from 9.30am and 10.30am.
There will be road closures from 12.30pm in the area of Braaid, Tosaby & St Marks along the A26, B35, and B37 roads due to a cycling event. Cyclists will be undertaking time trials leading up to the road closure.
