The Lieutenant Governor and Lady Lorimer have visited the Manx Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, meeting dancers, coaches and families.
The academy, made up of 28 dancers aged 3 to 15, was training for the National Championships in October and the World Championship competitions in October and April.
Government House said it was clear how dedicated, talented and enthusiastic the children are, describing their fast‑paced routines as highly impressive.
The visit was warmly welcomed by coaches Amy and Kat, who said it was a pleasure to share the academy’s work, ethos and community spirit.
They said the dancers were excited to meet His Excellency and Lady Lorimer and grateful for their interest and support.
Government House thanked the dancers and coaches for the invitation and wished the team the very best for their upcoming national and world championship events.
