Commonwealth Games gold medallist Matt Bostock has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2026 Tissot UCI Track World Championships in Shanghai, China.
The event, which runs from October 14-19, is also a qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Proper Pedigree
Bostock has enjoyed a stellar season, both on the road and in the velodrome, capped off with a exhilarating night in Glasgow where he claimed top spot in the 40km Points Race at the Commonwealth Games.
In addition, the Manxman is the holder of three national championship titles across two separate disciplines, adding his second career National Circuit Race crown to the elimination and scratch race honours he won at the National Track Championships in February.
This won’t be the first time the criterium specialist has donned red, white and blue this season, having been part of the team pursuit squad which took Bronze at the 2026 European Championships in Konya, Turkey.

GB are sending a prolific team to the championships, boasting an abundance of European, World and Olympic medals.
