MAC Financial has announced that George Richardson has received no objection from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority to act as an Independent Financial Adviser.
Mr Richardson joined the firm in 2023 as a paraplanner before progressing to lead the paraplanning team.
He moved into the advisory team as a trainee independent financial adviser in July this year and has now completed the firm’s adviser competency process.
During his career with MAC Financial, he achieved Chartered Financial Planner status and received a number of industry accolades, including the Chartered Insurance Institute Isle of Man’s Young Achiever of the Year award in 2024 and the FPIBA Education Award for Academic Excellence in 2026.
Managing Director Ed Walter described the move as a “fantastic achievement and a significant milestone” in Mr Richardson’s career.
The appointment increases the number of qualified independent financial advisers at MAC Financial to nine.
