The Council of Ministers expects to begin consideration of the report into the Mooir Vannin Wind Farm proposals in December.
Chief Minister Chris Thomas told the House of Keys today (November 3) that CoMin was waiting for the report following an inquiry into the application.
An independent Examining Body is considering the Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm application by Ørsted.
If CoMin decides to approve the application it would then go to Tynwald, he said.
Thomas was responding to a question from Alfred Cannan (Ayre and Michael) about which ministers had declared a conflict of interest, based on previous statements on the proposal. The Chief Minister said that a decision on any conflicts of interest from within the Council of Ministers would have to be addressed upon the receipt of the report.
Earlier Speaker David Ashford used his discretion to allow the question under limitations imposed by parliamentary rules covering issues considered to be sub judice. Members were not allowed to ask supplementary questions on the applicaton itself.
Cannan said Tynwald needed to know who was and who was not considering the application.
More to follow.
