A business owner and company director has been elected to represent Douglas South ward on Douglas City Council.
When nominations closed yesterday (November 4), Livia Lenarduzzi was the sole nominee and has therefore been elected unopposed to fill the vacant seat. Her term of office will run until April 2029.
Lenarduzzi stood unsuccessfully for the House of Keys in the September General Election, in the Douglas South constituency.
A council spokesperson said: “Douglas City Council welcomes Councillor Lenarduzzi and looks forward to supporting and working with her in the months and years to come.”
