Isle of Man STEMFest has been shortlisted for a national engineering award, placing the island initiative alongside projects involving some of the UK’s biggest names in industry and education.
The event has been named a finalist in the STEM Initiative category of The Engineer’s Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) Awards 2026, which recognise outstanding partnerships and innovation across the engineering sector.
Organised by Business Isle of Man, STEMFest introduces primary school pupils to science, technology, engineering and maths through hands-on activities and career-focused workshops.
This year’s event welcomed 840 Year 5 and Year 6 students from all 33 Island primary schools, supported by 27 businesses and organisations.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London in February 2027, with the next STEMFest set to take place at the Villa Marina on February 10 and 11.
