Love, lace and local spirit will come together this weekend at Ballabeg Chapel for a special Wedding Dress Exhibition.
The exhibition is in memory of the late Mr. John Kenneth Teare of Bride, organised by his daughter, Debbie Cringle.
The weekend will conclude with a Manx Chapel Service from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, featuring a short performance by the delightful Ballabeg Hand Belles, a hand bell choir.
Admission is £10.00 per person in support of Hospice Isle of Man and includes refreshments.
Celebration
This unique display will feature over 60 wedding dresses spanning from the 1930s to the present day, each one representing a special story of love through the generations.
Visitors can also enjoy a charming collection of hats from the late Mrs. Mary Cringle, as well as christening gowns created from repurposed wedding dresses, adding an extra touch of sentimentality and continuity between generations.
The exhibition promises to be a nostalgic and joyful celebration of love through the ages, and a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in support of a meaningful cause.
