A Slight Improvement

The weekends forecast is a slight improvement on what we have experienced the last few days.

Today we will see sunny spells and only isolated showers, as the strong winds slowly ease a little.

Rain for a time tonight, then sunshine and isolated showers for much of Sunday before rain arrives in the evening.

I Hate Winter

Monday will be generally wet and windy, with rain turning heavy at times.

Wind will be a SW 30-35 gusts 45-50, decreasing 15-20 later.

By heavy rain, we mean 7-15mm, but 20-30mm on hills

Met Office comments are “Strong to gale force winds. Heavy rain. Coastal overtopping”, basically another day in tropical island winter paradise.

Tuesday will be slightly better with showers and the occasional but of sun.

The wind will have backed down to SW 15-20 soon increasing 20-25, briefly veering W, backing SE 10-15 overnight.

Mystic Moz

Weather didn’t depress you enough? Well the news that a mercury retrograde and full moon on the horizon should do that.

Lock up your lunatics, and calm down your animals as the Beaver Moon will rise just before sunset on 5 November, and is visible all night long.

The third and final mercury retrograde of the season will kick start on November 9 and stay until November 29.

Be warned of the normal – travel delays, tech issues and just annoying sh** happening.

This mercury retrograde will mostly affect Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Have a fun weekend – maybe storm proof your home, it may be the last chance before winter really kicks in.
