Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper wants to see the abolition of Regional Swimming Pool Rates.
Mr Hooper will ask the Tynwald court next month as to whether the existing regional swimming pool rates should be abolished.
He suggest that the funds currently raised being replaced with funds drawn from the general revenue and this should take effect from the 2026/27 budget.
Next month, Tynwald will sit on July 15.
