Adopt an Ambulance

St John Ambulance Isle of Man has launched a new scheme to secure the future of its essential vehicle fleet.

The ‘Adopt an Ambulance’ scheme aims to fund the ongoing maintenance, repairs, and operational costs for the charity’s emergency vehicles.

The vehicles are central to providing event first aid cover, patient transport, and immediate medical response across the island.

Local businesses can become Corporate Donors for £3,000 over two years, securing prominent logo placement on a vehicle.

Private donors contributing £500 or £1,000 annually will be recognised on a commemorative plaque at the charity’s headquarters.

John Gill, Knight Commander at St John Ambulance Isle of Man, said: “Our vehicles are essential to help us support the community at events across the island.

“By ‘Adopting an Ambulance’, our donors are directly ensuring that we have the tools we need to save lives when needed.”

Caitlin Bradley, Head of Fundraising, added: “We’re really excited to launch our Adopt an Ambulance scheme as it gives our donors a visible stake in the work we do.”
