A road in the north of the island will close for six weeks for resurfacing from next month.
The Department of Infrastructure is to resurface the western end of Clenagh Road, from a point just east of the crossroads with Kella Road and Old Sulby Road, to Sandygate crossroads.
The road will close to through traffic from Monday, November 3 until Friday, December 19.
Northern Closure
Work will begin at the Sulby end and progress towards Sandygate.
It is anticipated that a further closure period will be required to complete all works as far as Sandygate.
If this is the case, it is currently intended to resume works in the new year.
Access to properties on Clenagh Road will be maintained from one end of the road or the other; the available route to some properties on the road will change as work progresses.
