Police stopped 38 vehicles last night as part of Operation Ripple Effect.
Of those stopped, three drivers were arrested following providing positive drink or drug tests at the roadside.
The Police said: “This puts the total of arrests at 16 since the operation started, which is 16 too many.
|If you’re going out, plan ahead – use public transport, arrange a lift, or ensure you have a safe way home. Don’t drink or drug drive.”
