Nominations have now closed for the local authority elections, with most authorities not having enough candidates to require an election.
As a result, the people who have put their names forward have been duly elected.
The elections will take place on Thursday April 24.
The number of seats on each board is as follows:
5 seats: Andreas, Ballaugh, Braddan, Bride, German, Jurby, Lezayre, Malew, Marown, Patrick, Santon
6 seats: Arbory and Rushen
7 seats: Castletown, Michael, Onchan, Peel, Port Erin, Port St Mary
9 seats: Garff
12 seats: Douglas, Ramsey (split into wards with voters voting in their area)

With nominations closed, the all important news, which area will and won’t be having elections.
First up, the boards elected uncontested: Arbory and Rushen, Port St Mary, Marown, Malew, Onchan, Bride, Douglas (North and East wards), Ballaugh, Garff, Port Erin, Braddan, Ramsey (South Ward), Andreas, Jurby, Michael, Santon (members to confirmed)
Election to be held: Castletown, Douglas (South Ward only), Peel, Ramsey (North Ward), Patrick
The Rest
Where vacancies remain on boards, there will be by-elections held at a later date.
