The public inquiry into the Draft Area Plan for the North and West gets underway tomorrow.
Held in Ramsey and Peel over the next two weeks, the inquiry will advise which zone parcels of land should be zoned for development.
From Tuesday to Friday this week, the inquiry will be based in the Ramsey Masonic Hall on Lezayre Road.
Each morning’s session will start at 10am, with an evening session has been included starting at 6pm on Thursday.
From Tuesday July 23 to Friday July 26 the inquiry will switch to Peel, startin at 10am at QE2 High School, Douglas Road, Peel.
If necessary, the inquiry will also sit in Peel on 30 and 31 July.

Only those who have registered to do so can speak at the inquiry unless invited to by the independent planning inspector leading the public inquiry.

The previous Area Plan for the East saw Tynwald accidentally zone a field for development despite the inquiry chair recommending for it to remain a field.
