Artus Appointed as Manx Jurisdiction Lead

Entrepreneur Jenson Artus has been selected as the Isle of Man jurisdiction lead by connectivity business TEKEX, following the firm’s successful on-island launch.

Having previously founded island-based brand and marketing consultant MGS, Artus will be focussed on helping local companies access opportunities beyond the Isle of Man.

Speaking after his appointment was announced, he said: “We can’t expect to grow our island economy purely by circulating the same opportunities within the same relatively small community.

“We need new relationships, new businesses and new capital coming into the Island.”

He added: “If TEKEX can help create more of those opportunities for Manx founders, that’s something I want to be part of.”

The move comes just eight months after the company first launched in the Isle of Man, having initially been established in both Jersey and Guernsey, with the organisation hoping to capitalise on the young founder’s extensive local knowledge.

Founder Ed Prow said: “Jenson understands the Island and its business community, and having him lead TEKEX locally means we can build on that momentum and develop relationships that deliver real commercial value.”
