The Autumn COVID-19 booster campaign will begin on the Isle of Man in next month.
The programme will start with vaccinations for adult care home residents and those who are most at risk.
Seasonal flu vaccines can be administered at the same time as COVID-19 to offer maximum protection over the winter months.
Eligible people will be offered both vaccines.
Autumn Vaccines
Flu vaccines can also be administered at some local pharmacies or by GP practices.
You can find a list of pharmacies here – please check your local pharmacy offers the flu vaccine service prior to attending.
The following groups will be offered COVID-19 and Seasonal Flu vaccines:
- those aged 65 years and older
- residents in a care home for older adults
- those aged six months to 64 years in a clinical risk group (Immunisation Green Book)
- frontline health and social care workers
Appointments will be made to visit residents in care homes for older adults directly with care homes.
Manx Care will contact those people who are aged 65 years and over, and those in a clinical risk group with an appointment if their health record suggests they may be eligible.
