Tomorrow’s Laxey Brass Band Festival has been postponed due to the poor weather forecast.
Garff Commissioners will be consulting working with the island’s bands to confirm a rescheduled date for later in the year and a new date will be announced in due course.
The authority said: “We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has worked so hard in planning this festival, and we truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience with this unfortunate postponement.
“We look forward to bringing everyone a fantastic brass band festival later this summer.”
