The Fire and Rescue Service has issued a warning as an expected spell of dry, warm weather raises the risk of wildfires, particularly in upland areas.
With the TT period bringing increased visitor numbers, authorities are concerned about accidental fires.
A Facebook post said: “Wildfires can destroy habitats, threaten wildlife and livestock, and endanger late ground nesting birds.”
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and the Fire Service are urging residents and visitors to follow safety guidance.
This includes not lighting barbecues or campfires, disposing of cigarettes responsibly, and avoiding parking vehicles where hot exhausts may touch dry vegetation.
People are asked to stay on marked paths, avoid disturbing livestock, and report any signs of smoke or fire immediately by calling 999.
