Fresh off last weekend’s win over Eccles, Vagabond Ladies travel to face unbeaten league leaders Winnington Park this Saturday.
For many of the squad, it’s their first time playing Winnington, and with a team full of new talent, they’re hoping to use the match to build more chemistry.
The club said: “Maylyn Campbell starts at No. 8, with Sophie Henry at 7, and captain Leona McGovern at 10. Bliss Murtagh takes the full-back spot, while debutant Dr. Meg Kerwin will make her mark in the back. In the forwards, Maisie Murray, Ella Goodwin-Jones, Lois Mooney, Becka Hicks (VC), and Georgie Quayle are fired up for the scrums.”
