With leaders Corinthians having a free week, the teams behind them will look to close the gap at the top of the Canada Life Premier League this weekend.
Second placed Onchan will be particularly keen to reassert their credentials for a Railway Cup spot as they make the trip to Laxey.
That clash at Glen Road is arguably the highlight in the top flight this weekend as the Os arguably need a win to hold off the incoming Peel and the miners themselves.
As for Laxey, Johnny Palmer’s side know a win will take them to within four points of the top with a game in hand.
Champions
Defending champions Peel are also in action and hoping for a draw this weekend knowing they could be second come 5pm on Saturday evening.
They face a tricky visit from St Marys on Saturday afternoon and could also be just four points behind Corinthians with a game in hand with a win.
Such has been the nature of the league this year, St Marys could jump up to third with a win if results elsewhere go their way.
The other side in the mix for the Railway Cup is Rushen, who head to Union Mills this weekend arguably needing a win if their are to be in Tony Mepham’s hat come the time for the draw.
The other games in the top flight see Braddan welcome Ayre, Old Boys host St Johns and Ramsey heading to Foxdale.

Second placed Colby know a result in their favour there could see them go top if they can win away at Malew.
