An excellent entry of 293 for the MFX Ltd End to End Walk has been received.
The entry exceeds by two the figure last year when the event was revived with a new organising committee and sponsor, and it’s the biggest for more than a decade.
At a time when entries in walking events have been in decline, this is excellent news.
Exciting Entry List
There were a few ‘Last Minute Larrys’, with the final three entries before the midnight deadline last night coming from Greg Hoskisson, Parish Walk winner Dean Morgan, and Sophie Watterson-Jones.
Last year’s End to End winner Simon Gawne was also a late entrant.
The End to End takes place on Sunday, September 15.
