There are five games in the Ardern & Druggan Division Two this weekend, with two of them potentially proving pivotal to the promotion race.
Old Boys head to Colby looking to kickstart their bid for promotion after a wobble in recent weeks, but a win for the home side would see them overtake the Blackberry Lane side.
Also waiting in the wings is RYCOB who could also leapfrog Old Boys if results go their way, they welcome fifth placed Castletown who, should things go their way, also find themselves in the thick of the promotion hunt.
The other games in the division see D&D host Douglas Royal and, Pulrose face Malew and Michael United welcoming leaders Braddan.
Title Race
With Peel having a week off Corinthians have the chance to draw level on points at the top of the Canada Life Premier League this weekend.
The league leaders have a week off as they were due to play Foxdale, but their postponed FA Cup game against Governor’s Athletic will now be played this weekend.
Standing in Corinthians’ way is Union Mills, the side which knocked Peel out of the FA Cup last weekend.
At the bottom of the league is is do or die time for Marown as they host third bottom Onchan knowing their already slim hopes of survival will be all but mathematically over if they fail to win.
Saints v Spaniards
The other side involved in the relegation scrap, St Georges are headed south this weekend to play Rushen United.
Geordies beat Foxdale 7-2 last time out, but the Spaniards beat Ayre 1- 3 away at Andreas so it really will come down to who turns up on the day.
Elsewhere in the top flight St Mary’s host Ayre while Laxey head to St John’s.
