Corinthians and Peel both won this weekend as the Canada Life Premier League title race rolled on.
There was also a big win at the bottom of the table as Braddan beat Old Boys to move further clear of the bottom two.
Corinthians beat Onchan 3-6 at the Jack Nivison Stadium thanks to two goals each from Conor Clark, Sean Doyle and Dan Simpson.
Peel meanwhile beat Foxdale 2-0 at Douglas Road with goals coming from Taylor Andrews and Oscar Bignall.
Elsewhere in the top flight, St Mary’s went third with a 5-2 win over Ayre and Union Mills won 0-3 at Glen Road to beat Laxey.
Advantage Colby
Colby went four points clear at the top of the Ardern & Druggan Div2 as they brushed aside Marown 0-3 with goals from Jordan Edge, Ciaran Smith and Sam Woolland.
They also received a massive boost as title rivals Castletown were beaten 3-2 by a resurgent St Georges thanks to a brace from George Kissack and one from Chris Bass Jnr.
The other games couldn’t have been more opposite as RYCOB came from one 3-0 down at half-time for a 4-4 draw away at Douglas Royal while Governors and D&D played out a 0-0 draw.
