Ben Hockenhull’s goal in the 95th minute denied FC Isle of Man a deserved win on a tense Saturday night at the Bowl.
The sides met in the NWCFL Premier Division, with sixth placed Bury the last unbeaten side in the league.
After a first half with no goals, thanks in large part to a big save from Adam Killey, Sean Doyle nodded the Ravens ahead on the 56th minute as he turned home Adam Adebiyi’s cross.
Bury had a lot of the ball after the goal but failed to create much of anything as the Ravens backline held firm.
However, after Callum Sherry saw red after a second booking and Bury’s Tanaka Cherera and Andrew Briggs sin binned and sent off, Bury finally managed to craft a chance, which Hockenhull turned in.
The goal sparked massive celebrations, as well as an illegal smoke bomb, in the away end as Bury fans knew they’d snatched a draw that they hadn’t really looked like getting.
The Ravens next game is on Tuesday night away at Ramsbottom United.
