A 23-year-old from Bury has admitted smuggling £4,000 worth of cocaine to the island.
Kelsey Peers admitted the offence when she appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The court previously heard that 28.1g of cocaine was concealed inside a package that was secreted internally.
Peers remains subject to a £20,000 surety, paid by her family, which could be lost if she fails to return to the island for her next appearance.
The case was adjourned until August 30 when Peers will appear before the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Magistrates decided a request for a social enquiry report should be considered by a Deemster.
