The petition calling for the bus service to Cregneash to be reinstated has attracted over 1,900 signatures.
Christa Viohl, who set up the petition, has now handed it to Speaker Juan Watterson to present to Tynwald.
Bus Vannin received permission to cut the route after ticket sales showed that 2023 saw just 256 fare paying passengers, compared with 909 in 2019.
Christa said: “A big thank you to all who supported me, to the people who signed the petition, and last but not least, to those who placed it in their shops and other venues.
” have now closed the petition and passed it to Rushen MHK Juan Watterson, who will now pass it on to his colleagues in Tynwald.
“Let us see what happens then. More than 1.900 people expressing their will to have the transport reinstated should definitely make a statement, even in the current situation where buses are being cancelled regularly.”
