The government is still asking people to stay at home for the time being as the Red weather warning drops to Amber.
Despite the drop in winds, the major incident will remain in place as there are still around 30 roads currently blocked by trees.
The government said it wants people to stay off the roads to help emergency services and response teams to prioritise clearing of trees, power lines and significant debris.
It added: “Bus services will not resume at 2pm, Bus Vannin will be reviewing the situation again later and will make a decision on whether to reintroduce services this evening.”
A further review of the major incident status will be held at 3pm.
The Police are still tracking which roads are closed as the DoI tries to remove trees and Manx Utilities is working to restore power.
