A new dedicated parking area for Athol Garage customers will combine the company’s car hire and valeting operations within one car park at Ronaldsway.
The change, effective from May 16, follows a recently approved parking order reallocating 45 standard parking spaces for private use.
David Quayle, Owner of Athol Garage, said: “A combined dedicated parking area will enable us to deliver an even higher level of service and convenience to visitors.
“We are committed to working closely with the Airport to ensure the transition is seamless for customers.”
Following the change, the total parking capacity will drop from 590 to 545 spaces, comprising:
- 162 Premium Spaces
- 383 Standard Spaces
The reallocated spaces, previously Long Stay Standard, will now be branded for Athol Garage Car Hire & Car Valeting and will no longer be available for general parking.
Geoff Pugh, Interim Airport Director, added: “This reallocation is part of a broader strategy to continually improve the facilities and services we offer, ensuring the airport remains responsive to evolving customer expectations.”
