Southern Nomads SportErin have received planning permission for a new clubhouse Ballakilley Park.
The clubhouse, which is set to replace the current temporary buildings, will have four changing rooms with showers and toilets.
As well as facilities for teams, it will also feature a social area that can be used by the team, charity and other community groups.
Spokesperson for SportErin, Neal Kelly, said: “This is another fantastic step forward for the provision of community facilities at Ballakilley. We’ll now need to double down on our fundraising efforts to turn these plans into reality.”
The charity and club also thanked Savage and Chadwick Architects “for their help and guidance in getting us to this stage and as we move forward to completing our vision of a community facility at Ballakilley Park”.
Fundraising efforts, possibly including allowing people to sponsor a brick, will be held in the future.
