The Onchan to Ramsey Coast Road is open today and through to Sunday as the weather impacts on plans to replace cats eyes.
A decision has been taken in the light of the forecast wet weather for Thursday and Friday of this week, to move onto Dhoon Glen and remove road studs between Dhoon and the northern approach to Laxey (Minorca side).
Anyone choosing to use the Coast Road will be diverted up onto Ballaragh Road. The only exception will be scheduled bus services which will be marshalled through the works.
The Coast Road will be open over the weekend.
Next week, so long as the weather improves, the team will return to the top of Hibernia in Maughold and work incrementally southwards installing new road studs.
