This weekend is quite the mixed bag; expect it to be fairly cold with a bit of rain, strong winds, before then turning sunny with little wind.
I think that summarised the weekend forecast fairly well tbh, but for the avid fans I’ll go into more detail.
It’ll be cloudy today with a spell of rain through the morning, clearing to isolated showers this afternoon.
Strong southwest wind veering west or northwest in the afternoon and top temperatures of 12°C.
The nights are certainly creeping in as we prepare to delve into the depths of winter, and tonight the sun will remind us of that as it sets at 6:26pm.
Cold Start to Sunday
It is going to be NIPPY overnight with lows of 3°C predicted, which will lead to a grass frost in some places tomorrow morning.
It’ll then be dry and bright through the morning, then cloud thickening with rain arriving late evening and overnight into Monday.
Light northerly winds will veer southeast and strengthen later, highest temperature 13°C.
Outlook
Monday will be mainly dry with bright or sunny intervals.
Wind will be S or SE 10-15, falling light and variable for a time, settling SE 15-20 overnight into Tuesday.
There will be a top temperatures of 15°C.and a low of 10°C.
Tuesday is already looking to be meh, as it will be largely cloudy with outbreaks of rain (2-8mm) at times.
Wind will be a SE 15-20, occasionally 25, veering S 10-15 later.
I’m over winter and it hasn’t even started; God help us all!
