Jurby and Northern Community Initiatives says someone has been using its logo and name to try to defraud people.
Its address was also used as part of a scam scenario involving a person purporting to live and work in the Jurby area.
It asked anyone who was targeted by the scam or may have fallen victim to it to contact the Police.
The centre said: “Please be advised and assured we would not ask for, or acknowledge receipt of funds, for medical treatment. We would not approach any fund raising activity by targeting individuals.
“We have received support and advice from the good folk at Isle of Man Constabulary Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team and are taking the recommended steps to report the situation.”
