The island’s inaugural Corporate Pickleball League rounded off last week.
Nedbank Private Wealth sponsored the league which saw eight teams from island businesses battle it out over ten weeks.
Tax consultancy Conexus topped the league with estate agents Black Grace Cowley finishing second.
Nedbank’s Karim Chowdhury said: “The league brought together people from a wide range of organisations, creating opportunities to build connections, support wellbeing and enjoy some healthy competition.
“It was fantastic to see the camaraderie that developed throughout the season and we were proud to play a part in making the league possible.”
The league reflects the growth of pickleball internationally due to its accessibility and social nature.
Neil Ronan of Manannan’s Pickleball Club added: “Hopefully this is just the start and we’ll continue to see pickleball grow across the Island.”
