The Jane Crookall Maternity Unit has congratulated Jess Roberts on being its first midwife to qualify through its course with Salford University.
Jess received a First Class Honours in her Midwifery degree.
The Jane said: “Jess started out with us as a Maternity Care Assistant and returned in 2021 to commence her training as a Midwife.
“She is the first ever Manx-trained Midwife in collaboration with Salford University where her academic training took place and her practical education was completed on island.”
The post has seen hundreds of likes and mothers who Jess helped throughout her study praise her for the support she provided.
