Conrhenny Equestrian Centre marked the end of its 2025/26 winter season with a packed prize‑giving evening celebrating riders of all ages.
The event, held on February 27, brought together riders, families and supporters to mark months of competition in challenging weather.
Nearly 40 trophies were awarded, honouring consistency, technical progress and standout performances across every level.
Strong Season
The Lead Rein and First Ridden categories highlighted the sport’s youngest competitors, with nine trophies presented between them.
The Junior division was the largest of the night, with 12 awards reflecting what organisers described as an exceptional depth of talent this winter.
Intermediate riders collected eight trophies, while 10 awards went to Senior competitors.
Not Just The Silverware
Organisers praised the determination shown throughout the season, noting the commitment required to train and compete during the darkest months of the year.
“Tonight isn’t just about the silverware and rosettes; it’s about the community we have built here at Conrhenny,” a spokesperson said.
“Seeing the joy on the faces of our Junior riders and the mutual respect among our Seniors is what makes the winter league so special. Every trophy represents hours of hard work behind the scenes, often in the wind and rain, and every rider should be immensely proud of what they have achieved.”
With the winter series now complete, Conrhenny is preparing for a busy calendar of outdoor shows and training clinics.
The centre also thanked judges, stewards and volunteers for their “tireless work” in delivering the winter programme.
