Drone users are being warned to keep clear of the Manx Grand Prix course, with strict ‘no‑fly’ zones in force throughout the event.
Restrictions run from August 16 to 28 and cover all airspace on and around the TT Course, applying from one hour before roads close each day until they reopen.
The Deputy Director of Civil Aviation, Colin Gill, said the airspace is used by emergency and filming helicopters and that drones pose a distraction to riders.
Any sightings will be reported immediately to race control and police, and could halt racing.
Only the Isle of Man Constabulary and official media partners have permission to operate drones within the restricted area.
Breaching the rules is an offence carrying fines of up to £10,000.
