Second Steam Packet Ferry To Go Into Dry Dock

MV Arrow

Freight vessel Arrow will be taken out of service on Sunday after an oil leak was discovered in one of its control‑pitch propeller systems.

The ship will enter dry dock at Camell Lairds/Balaena, Birkenhead, where repairs and related works are expected to take five working days.

Arrow is scheduled to return to service the following Sunday (August 16).

Freight will continue to move throughout the week using Ben‑my‑Chree, ensuring essential goods keep flowing to and from the Island.
