Corbyn Schade and Kirsty Barber took the honours in the Western 10 Run, the first to be named in memory of Western AC stalwart Gordy Brew.
Corbyn took his first win in one of the major road races on the island with a very impressive display of controlled distance running.
Second was the ever-consistent David Williams, and third was Lewis Brew, to whom this race will have meant a great deal.
Gordy was Lewis Brew’s grandfather, and the supporting walk is named in memory of his mum Julie.
Kirsty Barber ran a great race to take the women’s title, finishing fifth overall. Joint second were Jess Bryan and Becci Pate.
