The Isle of Man FA’s first referee training course ahead of the new season has seen 17 people take part.
Led by Tommy Crowe and Peter Greenhill, the course was held at the Bowl.
Refereeing numbers on the island have struggled in recent years as experienced referees hung up their whistles and there was shortage of new officials coming through.
The FA said it was “great” to see the up and coming referees taking the course.
It added: “We will be running another course on Sunday the 25th August (further information to be released shortly). If you would like to register your interest please contact simon.elson@isleofmanfa.com.”
