Ryan and Callum Crowe have swept all before them in the first Sidecar race of TT 2025, setting a new outright lap record.

The shortened race was run over two laps instead of the planned three.

Their third TT win saw them set a new lap record of 121.021mph, winning by over one minute.

Leading Ben Birchall and Patrick Rosney by 11.236 seconds at Glen Helen, the Crowes never looked back and set a new fastest ever sector from Glen Helen to Ballaugh.

By the time they go there, they had stretched out the lead to 20.017 as Lewis Blackstock and Oscar Lawrence moved into second over Birchall and Rosney.

They led by 25 seconds at Ramsey Hairpin as Birchall and Rosen battled Blackstock and Lawrence in an insanely tight battle for second with the former just 0.249second ahead.

At the end of the first lap they recorded a 119.418mph lap from a standing start.

Behind the brothers Birchall and Rosen, Blackstock and Lawrence and Lee Crawford and Scott Hardie were separated by just three seconds as the battle for the podium was on.

The Crowes set a new record for the first sector out to Glen Helen, beating the Birchalls’ 2023 record, as they led by 45.6 seconds.

At Ballaugh their lead was up to 54 seconds as they were inside lap record time, a performance which continued down into Douglas and the Grandstand.

Sadly Blackstock and Lawrence were unable to carry on as Brichall and Rosen took second while Crawford and Hardie took third.
