A fifth public-access defibrillator, funded by the League of Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital, has been installed at The Ginger Hall Hotel in Sulby.
Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation announced the latest addition to its life-saving network, thanking local supporters for their role in the initiative.
Anne Couper-Woods and Lynette Byrne have taken on the role of guardians for the device, while pub owners Mark and Anya Evans granted permission for its installation.
“This is one of five machines kindly funded by the League of Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital,” said chairman Paul Healey. “You will see more popping up in the north of the island very soon.”
The Ginger Hall Hotel, a landmark on the TT course, is now equipped to assist in cardiac emergencies, reinforcing community safety efforts.
