Residents in Braddan and Douglsa are being told to run their taps this morning if water is discoloured.
Manx Utilities said its engineers had a water shutdown in Vicarage Road, Farm Hill, IOM Business Park, Anagh Coar and Springham Park Braddan.
A spokesperson said: “Customers may experience discoloured water this morning, if you do please run your downstairs/ outside tap until it clears.”
