The Department of Infrastructure currently has a drainage team working on the Raad Ny Foillan.
Teams are working on a section of the path that lies between Knocksharry and the Devils Elbow.
The team is undertaking ditching work to divert water from the path in locations where it has got very boggy underfoot.
Ditching Work
Where the surface is particularly poor, the team will install stone to improve drainage and finish the surface with road planings in order to provide a stable, safe surface.
The Raad remains open past these works, but the DoI asks people take special care when approaching any work site, and obey any safety instructions.
It is expected that the work will take about another fortnight to complete.
