A charity looking to remove the financial barriers to sports is seeking donations of kit and equipment.
PlayMaker.im will be accepting donations at the Family Fun Day at Noble’s Park this Saturday from 12pm to 4pm.
While some second hand equipment and kit, such as trainers, sports bags and boots, it can only accept new gum shields, water bottles and hair bobbles.
It also can’t accept old team kits, dirty or poor quality goods or expired protective gear.
The charity was created by chair Rebekah Dalrymple and trustees Andy Dalrymple and Anne Baggese.
