Ellan Vannin Fuels has had to ask people not to use jet washes intending for cars on children.
A video circulating on TikTok shows a child being sprayed by the washer, which contains chemical meant for cleaning your car.
EVF said doing this is “highly dangerous”.
It added: “Chemicals used in the wash process, whist designed for your vehicle, can be irritant to skin if the jetwash is used incorrectly.
“Similar to everyday Chemicals, such as washing up liquid or bleach, they should be used as per guidelines.The jetwash also operates at high pressure that can cause injury to persons or animals if not used as per operating instructions.”
